I Dream
54
Darling, my head hurts
No don’t worry, it’s not you
It’s me, always me
I’ve gone on a crazy journey in my head
And you think I just need my bed
Well, I’m sorry, but I won’t sleep
Because if I sleep, I dream
And wouldn’t you like to think
That dreaming is my sanctuary
No darling, it’s my personal agony
*I fall asleep, and I dream
What do I dream?
Wouldn’t you like to know
Where my mind goes
Wouldn’t you like to see
The real me, follow my reverie?
No darling, trust me
My minds’ not a safe place to be*
And I hate how you can see
How imperfect I’ve turned out to be
You won’t, really understand
Why I don’t mind not talking
Coz my mind takes me elsewhere
And I’d rather not take you there
*I fall asleep, and I dream
What do I dream?
Wouldn’t you like to know
Where my mind goes
Wouldn’t you like to see
The real me, follow my reverie?
No darling, trust me
My minds’ not a safe place to be*
Don’t let me close my eyes
To see an illustration
I don’t need an explanation
Just let me sleep
Without counting sheep
Just let me sleep
*I fall asleep, and I dream
What do I dream?
Wouldn’t you like to know
Where my mind goes
Wouldn’t you like to see
The real me, follow my reverie?
No darling, trust me
My minds’ not a safe place to be*

I'm agree with Shalini. It is need good music with it. Something rock, dark and sad must be fit very well with it.

That's such a beautiful, poignant, heart wrenching song, Cammie! All it now needs is some haunting music.
